💔 A Heartbreaking Goodbye To Our Beloved Pudding - Formerly Dave 💔

We have some very sad news to share. Our beautiful boy Pudding, sadly had to be put to sleep yesterday.

Pudding first came into our lives in August 2023, when we were alerted by Melissa (Noel’s mum) about a cat who had been living rough. Thanks to her kindness, we were able to get him into foster care with Liz, we named him Dave, he spent time in her catio and began his journey of healing.

He had several vet visits due to his severely sun-damaged ears, but despite everything, he remained gentle and loving. It was our wonderful fosterer Margaret who truly saw something special in him. Alongside David her husband, she gave Pudding the most beautiful life, full of love and comfort, even as he continued to face health challenges.

Although tests and vet visits revealed he was not a well cat, Pudding never lacked for care or affection. He remained under CAFO’s wing, treasured every day, and gave so much love in return.

We believe his poor health was likely the reason he had been left to fend for himself before, but with Margaret and David, he knew nothing but love and warmth.

🌈 Pudding, you’ve left a huge hole in our hearts. But you also leave behind a legacy of love, resilience, and the reminder that every cat deserves a second chance. You had two precious years being truly adored, and if love could have saved you, you would have lived forever.
