Meet Lollipop

This beautiful girl came into our care last week after we received a call from a local vet. She had been handed in after being found on a very busy road between Crewe and Nantwich, in a heartbreaking state.

Lollipop was covered in fleas, skin and bone, and had no microchip. Her fur looked like it had been recently clipped or shaved, and signs showed she had recently had kittens—yet no kittens were with her. No one came forward for her.

When her amazing foster mummy went to collect her, she was shocked by the condition Lollipop was in. But despite everything, this little sweetheart showed nothing but love. She’s unbelievably affectionate and gentle—the most loving soul you could ever meet.

The vet believes she’s still very young herself, and it’s likely she was only used for breeding before being discarded. It breaks our hearts to see a baby having babies, then left to fend for herself.

But those days are behind her now. 💖
