REHOMED MAY 2026

...

Male, 1 Month Old - Mum Maggie and her son came into our care following the heartbreaking loss of their owner. For nearly 11 months, family members did everything they could to look after them, but with two dogs, young children, and a new baby on the way, the situation became increasingly difficult—and sadly, unsafe for everyone involved.

Maggie and her son had never lived with dogs before, and despite the family’s best efforts, ongoing conflicts led to multiple vet visits. During this already stressful time, Maggie also became pregnant after local tom cats managed to gain access.

That’s when Cafo Rescue stepped in. Even without immediate space, we knew we couldn’t let things continue this way.

While in foster, Maggie safely gave birth to four beautiful kittens. Three have already been reserved and will head off to their forever homes once they are fully weaned.

That leaves just one little one still looking for a home—Juno

At the moment, we aren’t allowing visits while the kittens are still very young, but we are taking expressions of interest and carrying out home checks now.

At around 9 weeks, the kittens will receive their first vaccinations, their sexes will be confirmed, and visits can begin. At 12 weeks, they will be fully weaned, have their second vaccinations, and will be ready to head off to their forever homes.

If you think you could offer Juno the loving home he deserves, please get in touch.

Juno has since found his perfect forever home.
