Female, 1 Year Old
Tabitha and her sister Mary came to Cafo Rescue after their feederās mum spoke with one of our fosterers. The cats had been abandonedāonce seen as kittens in a window, then suddenly shut out when their belongings were thrown away. Neighbours began feeding them, but the quiet close where they lived meant they werenāt streetwise.
Both under 18 months old and very friendly, they loved playing with local children. Their feeder grew concerned when they started looking heavier and more stray cats appeared. Neither was microchipped. Tabitha showed signs of pregnancy and went into emergency foster care; three weeks later, she gave birth to three kittens.
Tabitha is a lovely natured cat. She is very affectionate to all that she meets, and has made a wonderful mum. She is a slim, long cat with beautiful tabby markings. She likes to have deep, meaningful conversations! When she lived outside, she was friendly towards other cats, and was not scared of visiting dogs. We think that once she has weaned her kittens, and they have gone off to new homes, that she would return to being a young cat, who would enjoy playtimes and cuddles.
