Smudge and Mush are a beautiful bonded pair of siblings who were born in an alleyway and cared for as part of a small colony. Thanks to the dedication of the finder and our team, that colony has now been helped, with all cats either in homes or foster.

These two have come such a long way. They were never feral due to regular human contact, and they show no aggression whatsoever—just a need for a little time, patience, and understanding.

Smudge is the more confident of the two and will settle in quickly. Mush, his sister, is more timid—she does want attention, but Smudge often gets there first and can unintentionally push her aside. Because of this, we feel they would thrive in the right home where both can receive the love they deserve.

They were ear-tipped as they were originally part of a TNR plan (Trapped, neutered and released), but they’ve done so well that we know they deserve a home of their own.

Their ideal home is a quiet, calm household with no other animals and no young children (older, calm teenagers considered). Ideally a couple, so each cat can have one-to-one attention and owners who can offer time, patience, and understanding where Mush is allowed the time she needs to build trust at her own pace.

These two really are special. With the right home, they will become wonderful, loving companions—just waiting for someone to give them that chance.
