This gorgeous girl has had such a tough start to life. Luna was living on the streets while heavily pregnant, and heartbreakingly, kids had been seen throwing things at her. Thankfully, her kind finders took her in, and she gave birth to seven beautiful kittens — her second litter.

When Luna arrived in our care, she was terrified and very protective, unsure who to trust. Over time, with lots of patience, love, and care, she’s made huge progress thanks to her amazing fosterers and their daughter, who have worked incredibly hard with her and her kittens.

Now that her babies are flying the nest, it’s Luna’s turn to find the forever home she deserves.

Luna is still a little nervous around people and will need a calm, patient adult-only home where she can settle in her own time. When she’s excited for food, she can give little nips to your legs or arms — nothing nasty, just her way of showing enthusiasm! She’s improving all the time and just needs understanding and love.
