Chamberlain came to us as a stray — frightened, defensive, and understandably unsure of the world around him after what’s clearly been a tough life on the streets.

At first, he was very hissy and wary of human contact. But with time, patience, and gentle care, this lovely boy has begun to show us who he really is.

Chamberlain has made incredible progress in foster. One of his biggest milestones? Choosing to sit on his fosterer’s lap — a huge moment of trust that speaks volumes about how far he’s come.

He still has the occasional hiss if he’s startled, but that’s just his way of saying he needs a little reassurance. Beneath that uncertainty is a cat who wants love — and more than that, seeks it out. He enjoys company so much that he’ll even cry for his fosterers to come and sit with him.

Chamberlain is a foodie at heart and a gentle soul who simply needs someone willing to go at his pace and help him continue building confidence.
