We were contacted by the vets about this very special boy, Eric. Earlier this spring, two kind ladies found Eric struggling with a large abscess on his back. They didn’t hesitate. Instead of turning away, they rushed him straight to the vets for treatment and continued to watch over him long after, making sure he was safe and cared for.

They did everything they could to find his family, advertising him locally and giving his owners every chance to come forward — but sadly, no one ever did.

Determined to give Eric the best possible future, they recently took him back to the vets to be neutered and microchipped, hoping this would mark the beginning of a safer, more settled life for him. While there, he was tested for FIV — and heartbreakingly, the result came back positive.

Because of this, Eric has now come into our care. He is a truly gentle, affectionate boy, and it’s devastating to see yet another unneutered cat left to fend for himself, only to become FIV positive through no fault of his own.

Eric is now safe and warm with our fosterer, where he’s enjoying comfort, kindness, and full bellies. We’ll carry out a full assessment and begin the search for Eric’s perfect forever family. He deserves nothing less than a home filled with love, warmth, and understanding — and we truly believe that family is out there waiting for him.
